Our Culture

At this time of year the team at Field Day puts our heads together to come up with a creative and off-the-wall gift for our clients – from a build-your-own-turkey kit to a toasty warm pair of stylish socks. They were fun projects to work on and were well received.

This year we wanted to approach things a little differently. Our theme is, “The best gift to receive is the gift of giving back.”

Youth Without Shelter (YWS) is an emergency residence and referral agency in Toronto. They are dedicated to providing shelter and support programs for homeless youth ages 16–24 in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

Field Day put together 100 care kits for YWS containing some of the comforts and necessities that we all take for granted including shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and deodorant among other items. The project was a team effort, and a way for us to work together differently.

We’ve put together a short video about the process. We hope it brings you some joy this holiday season. As always, thank you for your support.

If you’ve ever visited us in person or follow any of us on social media, you know that more often than not we’ve got a four-legged companion (or two) roaming the office. It’s a deadline-driven business that can be stressful at times, so what better way to relax than to give our furry friends all the petting and behind-the-ear scratching they can stand. Spoiler Alert: it’s never too much. Now, do yourself a favour, take two minutes and look at pictures below of our doggos.

We work hard, and we play hard. And by play hard, we mean we like to soak up the sun on a patio at one of the great restaurants in Liberty Village on a Friday afternoon. Slowly but surely, our aim is to eat and drink our way from Strachan to Dufferin.

Field Day follows the accessibility guidelines for Ontario. Our hiring processes are based solely on skill set related to the job requirements, and we ensure that persons with disabilities are given equal opportunity for employment. We also ensure that all of our work for our clients is provided in a manner that respects the dignity and independence of persons with disabilities.
