The National Hockey Leagueís Mighty Ducks of Anaheim have hired Field Day Inc. as their agency of record to handle their advertising creative and collateral materials.

The first assignment for Field Day, a Toronto-based advertising and design agency, will be the strategic execution of a branding and ticket sales campaign for the Mighty Ducks that will include television, radio, print and out-of-home.

"The Mighty Ducks have made great strides in the past few years," says Andrew Arntfield, President & Creative Director of Field Day, "but this is still a relatively young franchise, in a market with numerous other sports entertainment options. Our goal is to continue to strengthen their brand identity throughout southern California and the hockey community."

Field Day has worked with the Mighty Ducks on a project basis since 2003. They have created a variety of marketing materials, including season tickets and a multimedia campaign to promote premium seat and luxury suite sales in the Ducksí arena, The Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim.

Field Day participated in an agency review process, and was hired on the basis of their strategic and creative expertise, as well as on the strength of their previous work with the Ducks.

Field Day specializes in marketing strategy and creative services for the sports and entertainment industries for clients including the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Molson Indy.
